Illinois 1 Webmaster John C Long, would like to offer a new online voting system to the International Community. Individual chapters and conferences, the Internet Committee, the Board of Governors and all other International Committees and officers can all use this system to save time and money. Use this site for chapter elections, web site of the year award or to vote on chapter bylaw changes. Use it for anything! This system is currently designed for unofficial Blue Knights® use and is constantly under development for usability and improvements. The following is currently how our online voting system is setup to work. Each chapter, conference or committee would contact us to setup a Voting Account. This request must be made through the Chapter President or Vice-President, Committee Chairman, or elected Conference/INTL Official. Each chapter, conference or committee will provide to us an Authorized Member List used to approve voter registration. We set up a Voting Account for you to include: single or multiple polls menu links contact information
We create and send to you an Access Code. You are responsible for distribution of the access code to your poll. For low to medium security voting, one Access Code will be shared by all members of the chapter, conference or committee. This code will have a use limit equal to the number of authorized voters.(Recommended) For maximum security voting, one Access Code could be created for each and every voting member, with a use limit of one.
Each voting member of your chapter, conference or committee must Register to Vote on this site and each registration will be validated against the Authorized Member List provided by the you. After registration approval, members can then login to this voting site. Members MUST enter an Access Code in order to vote, or even to simply view the poll. Members are then authorized to view and vote once per poll.
